U.S. 90 Car-Motorcycle Crash Kills John Davis
Columbia County, FL (October 7, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in a car accident involving three vehicles Friday evening.
As reported by the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place on U.S. 90 at County Road 133 around 9:04 p.m. October 6.
The report showed that John Davis, 46, of Lake City, rode his 2002 Kawasaki eastbound on U.S. 90. Davis was driving behind a 2004 Ford Explorer.
As the driver of the Explorer was slowing to make a right turn, Davis rear-ended the vehicle and overturned. The impact caused the Explorer to crash into a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Milton Bell, 22, of Lake City.
The driver of the Explorer, Dominique Daniels, 30, of Glen St. Mary, sustained serious injuries and was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital. Bell sustained minor injuries and was brought to Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City.
