The victim has been identified as Jeffrey King.

According to the article, Boynton Beach Police said King, who was as a resident of Boynton Beach tried to beat the train and pedaled around the gates as he crossed the tracks going west on East Ocean Avenue. He was hit by one of the Brightline trains and sustained fatal injuries.
