Summerfield Man Jason Burridge Killed in Marion County Crash on CR 42
Marion County, Florida (February 13, 2018) – A Summerfield man was killed in a fatal head-on collision on Monday morning in Marion County, according to a report by the FHP.
The two-vehicle wreck occurred shortly before noon on Monday, February 12, on County Road 42 just east of SE 130th Avenue.
Troopers said Jason Richard Burridge, 35, of Summerfield, was driving a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 when he swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a 2007 Toyota 4Runner, driven by Robert Ross Blystone, 69, of Murphy, North Carolina.
Burridge died at the scene of the crash.
Blystone and his passenger, Marina Richardson, 68, of Murphy, were both taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
