46-Year-Old Car Driver Killed in Highway 90 Crash with Dump Truck West of Beulah
Beulah, Florida (January 20, 2018) – A 46-year-old Alabama man was killed in a grisly collision involving a dump truck on Friday evening near Beulah, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at around 6:10 p.m. Friday, January 19, on Highway 90 west of Beulah.
Troopers said James Swope, 46, of Seminole, was driving a 2001 Nissan Maxima westbound on Highway 90 when he crashed into the back of a 1989 Ford dump truck that was pulling out of a weigh station.
Swope was killed in the crash.
The driver of the dump truck, Patrick Bundy, 39, of Robertsdale, was unhurt.
The Florida Highway Patrol is looking into the accident.
