Cecil Commerce Center Parkway Head-On Collision Kills 1
Jacksonville, FL (September 8, 2017) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision that took place on the Cecil Commerce Center Parkway early Friday morning.
The crash report submitted by the Florida Highway Patrol showed that the incident took place around 2:34 a.m. September 8 about a mile south of 103rd Street.
The FHP reported that 31-year-old Jacqueline Stout, of Starke, drove her Kia Optima northbound on Cecil Commerce Parkway and tried to pass a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Adrianne Hamilton, of Green Cove Springs. As she did so, she crashed into the vehicle driven by 30-year-old Marlee Johnson, of Middleburg. The impact from the collision sent Johnson’s vehicle to spin and crash into Hamilton’s vehicle.
Stout’s vehicle caught fire after the collision and she was killed.
Meanwhile, Johnson sustained serious injuries.
Hamilton and three other passengers on board her vehicle sustained minor injuries.
We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
