Isiah Chery Killed in St. Cloud Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 192
St. Cloud, Florida (February 8, 2018) – A collision between a car and a log truck killed 19-year-old Kissimmee man on Tuesday afternoon in St. Cloud, according to FHP.
The crash took place at around 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, on U.S. Highway 192 at Deer Park Road.
FHP said 83-year-old Donad Vanosdol of St. Cloud, was sitting in a log truck facing south on Deer Park Road when he tried to cross the intersection of U.S. Highway 192 and entered into the path of a 2006 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound.
The Nissan, which was being driven by Isiah Chery, 19, of Kissimmee, slammed into the log truck and got pinned under the trailer.
Troopers said Chery was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three passengers in the Nissan, Ruth Rodriguez, 9, Keyrian Mercado, 20, and Daniel Brinez, 20, all of Kissimmee, were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
Vanosdol was not hurt.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
