Irma Morales Killed in Fatal Orange County Pedestrian Accident on Pershing Avenue
Orange County, Florida (January 12, 2018) – According to the Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Orange County.
The woman was identified by the police officers as 73-year-old Irma Morales.
The deadly accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10 on Pershing Avenue near Redditt Road.
Troopers stated that Morales was crossing Pershing Avenue and she was not in a crosswalk. She walked in front of a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Williams Correa, of Orlando and was struck.
Morales was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she died.
Meanwhile, Correa was uninjured in the incident.
The fatal accident remains under an investigation.
