A 76-year-old man has died after a two-vehicle crash at approximately 2:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon in Okaloosa County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, an emergency call was made about an accident that happened on the west bound lanes on State Road 30 involving a freight truck and Volvo.
Reports show that the freight truck was slowing down to make a right turn onto a store parking lot and Stefan failed to realize that the truck was slowing down, and this caused his car to hit the back of the freight truck.
Stefan was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and was shortly pronounced dead at the hospital.
FHP stated that it is unknown whether or not Stefan had his seat-belt on.
