FHP Identify Victim of Fatal Turner County Rear-End Crash on I-75 as Harold McNeal
Turner County, Florida (November 15, 2017) – According to the Georgia State Patrol Troopers, a man was killed after being involved in a rear-end collision Friday night in Turner County.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Harold Jack McNeal, of Ocala, Florida.
The fatal incident was reported at about 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 10 on I-75 South at mile marker 87.
Trooper Chris Forsythe stated that McNeal’s semi-truck was carrying tomato paste when it rear-ended another semi, and both caught fire.
McNeal was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the other semi sustained minor wounds in the incident.
An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
