Two Semi-Trucks Collide Injuring Driver and Passenger on Interstate 75
Interstate 75, Florida (December 15, 2017) – According to Florida Highway Patrol, two people were injured in a crash at Mile Marker 404 Thursday morning.
The crash took place at about 6:17 a.m. Thursday 14, on Interstate 75 Southbound.
FHP said the two trucks were traveling southbound in the right lane when the front of one truck hit the other in the back.
As per the FHP report, Gwendolyn Morrison, 57, was the driver of the truck that struck the other. He was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital after sustaining critical injuries.
The 37-year-old passenger, Ricarrado Pollard, was also transported to Shands after sustaining minor injuries. The two injured were from Georgia.
No injuries were reported among the occupants of the struck vehicle.
