Florida Highway Patrol Officials identify a 24-year-old man from Hollywood, FL after a wrong way crash on Interstate 95 near Sunrise Boulevard.

The man identified by police officials is was Gerard S. Ellis, who died on the scene.
Reports state that the police department received a call just around 3 A.M. Saturday morning in which the caller said that a car was heading northbound on the southbound lanes on Interstate 95.
Police officials say they saw a car burst into flames before the accident and that the person was already dead when they got to the scene.
Another driver involved in the crash was rushed to Broward Health suffering from serious injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the wrong-way collision.
