One Seriously Injured in Fort Walton Beach Accident at Eglin Parkway
Fort Walton Beach, Florida (November 23, 2017) – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that one person suffered serious injuries after being involved in an auto-pedestrian accident Wednesday evening in Fort Walton Beach.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 22 at Eglin Parkway near Kelly Avenue.
Troopers stated that 17-year-old Ryan Davis was driving southbound on Eglin Parkway when he struck a pedestrian in the middle of the road. A press release said that that the pedestrian violated Davis’ right of way.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
FHP is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
