Female Pedestrian Killed in Deadly Boynton Beach Train Crash at 600 North FEC
Boynton Beach, Florida (January 13, 2018) – According to the Boynton Beach Police, a female pedestrian was hit and killed by a Brightline train Friday evening in Boynton Beach.
The deadly train crash took place at about 6:25 p.m. Friday, January 12 at 600 North FEC.
Troopers stated that the train was headed north on the Florida East Coast Railway when the incident happened. It is not yet clear what the pedestrian was doing on the railway tracks.
Nobody was injured on the train.
The high-speed train is scheduled to begin its services on Saturday morning between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
