PORT ST. LUCIE — St. Lucie County Fire District spokeswoman Brenda Stokes stated that a single-vehicle crash that took place on Saturday Morning left three people injured and took the life of one child.
An SUV was traveling at around 1:13 a.m. north of Southbend Boulevard near Southeast East Snow Road that contained a family of two children and two adults
Port St. Lucie Police Department spokesman Master Sgt. Frank Sabol reported that a family of two adults and two children were in an SUV traveling north on Southbend Boulevard near Southeast East Snow Road about 1:13 a.m.rolled over as the driver lost control of the vehicle. The victim, a 12-year old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene as he was ejected from the SUV.
The remaining three passengers were taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce. The female adult suffered severe injuries, but the conditions of the adult male and the 15-year old teen remain unknown.
Sabol stated that the investigation of the crash is being conducted by the Police Traffic Homicide Investigators.
Once their conditions are known, more details will be given.
Update: The boy who died name is Jack Voellm, 11. Kelly Ingraham, 37, and his 17-year-old brother, Thomas Voellm were the passgeners in the car currently at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center
