Car Kills Pedestrian on Gulf City Road and Top Notch Lane
Hillsborough County, FL (September 29, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Friday morning.
Officials reported the incident to have occurred around 7 a.m. on September 29 at Gulf City Road and Top Notch Lane.
The report showed that an eastbound Honda CRV on Gulf City Road struck a passenger as she was walking along the road.
There were two pedestrians walking on the south shoulder of Top Notch Lane when one of them, 43-year-old Erica Sewell, was struck and killed by the car.
The driver did not see the pedestrians due to poor lighting conditions and oncoming traffic.
No charges are expected, according to officials.
