33-Year-Old Eric Blaise Killed in Tamarac Crash
Tamarac, Florida (December 16, 2017) – Police said a man was killed after being hit by three vehicles in Tamarac Tuesday night.
The crash took place at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 12 on the 8900 block of West Commercial Boulevard.
Authorities said that Eric Blaise, 33, was crossing the 8900 block of the road from north to south when he was hit by the front driver’s side of a 2006 Saturn Vue traveling westbound. The impact of the crash caused Blaise to fall to the pavement into the direct path of a 2006 Infiniti M35 that was unable to avoid hitting him.
A third vehicle struck Blaise while he was still down on the roadway and proceeded westbound on West Commercial Boulevard. The Saturn driver, Edward Henry, 62, of Miami-Dade County and the 20-years-old Infiniti driver, Evan Thomas, of Sunrise stopped at the scene of the crash, police said.
