North Fort Myers Man Edward Quintero Seriously Injured in Charlotte County Crash
Charlotte County, Florida (November 11, 2017) – A North Fort Myers man was seriously injured on Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Charlotte County.
Edward S. Quintero, 32, was a victim in the crash that occurred on U.S. 41 near Oil Well Road on Friday, November 10, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Quintero spotted a school bus picking up children outside the Sun-N-Shade RV Resort and tried to slow down when his vehicle was struck from behind by a van, driven by Tori E. Williamson, 31.
The crash caused Williamson’s van to drive into a ditch.
Quintero was seriously injured and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
Williamson and her passenger sustained minor injuries. She was issued a citation for careless driving.
