75-Year-Old Man Injured in Putnam County Bus Crash with Car on State Road 207
Putnam County, Florida (February 3, 2018) – A 75-year-old car driver was sent to a hospital after a crash with a bus on Friday afternoon in East Palatka, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Friday, February 2, on State Road 207 at the intersection of Gladys Avenue.
Troopers said a 32-year-old man was driving a bus northbound on State Road 207 when he slowed down to make a right turn onto Gladys Avenue and was rear-ended by a GMC Sierra pickup truck, driven by a 75-year-old East Palatka Man.
The driver of the Sierra was transported to Orange Park Medical Center with serious injuries.
No one in the bus was hurt.
