Paisley Man Donald Sepanek Killed in Volusia County Motorcycle Crash on U.S. 17
DeLand, Florida (January 29, 2018) – The 74-year-old Paisley man killed in a motorcycle collision with a car on Saturday afternoon near DeLand in Volusia County has been identified as Donald Sepanek, according to FHP.
Sepanek died in the crash that happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 and North Spring Garden Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 27.
Troopers said Sepanek was heading north on U.S. 17 when he turned left onto North Spring Garden Avenue and was struck by a 2013 Hyundai, driven southbound on U.S. 17 by Norma Hinderaker, 89, of DeLand.
Sepanek was ejected by the impact and thrown into a utility pole.
FHP said Sepanek died at the scene of the crash.
Hinderaker was not injured.
FHP is conducting an investigation into the crash.

It is difficult having to face the fact that a loved one is no longer there, but even more troublesome is coming to learn that they were brutally killed by the hands of malicious individuals.
