Deadly Pedestrian in Okaloosa County
Okaloosa County, FL – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pedestrian-vehicle accident resulted with one fatality in Okaloosa Island.
The victim, a 22-year old man was standing in the right lane of Highway 98 Thursday night.
At that same moment, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the left lane but then merged onto the right lane where they struck the deceased.
The pedestrian was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical center but succumbed to their injuries.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
