Tennessee Man David Kibble Killed in Lake County Crash
Lake County, Florida (December 24, 2017) – According to Florida Highway Patrol, one man was killed in a crash in Lake County late Saturday morning.
The crash happened at about 11:45 Thursday, December 24, at Mile Marker 288 and U.S Highway 27.
FHP said the crash happened as the vehicles approached a toll plaza when a 23-year-old, Texas man, Christopher Garner who was driving a Ford pickup struck the back of two vehicles in front of him including a motorcycle.
The 61-year-old Tennessee man, David Kibble, was taken to Leesburg Regional Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet when the Crash happened, FHP said.
Garner also suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The wreck remains under investigation.
