Florida Highway Patrols stated that two teens have died after the stolen car that they were in struck a pole at around 1:15 A.M. in Orange County.
Troopers have identified two passengers, 17-year-old Darrin Grant and 19-year-old Traynard Poiter. The other passenger and driver of the stolen vehicle were not identified.
Reports have stated that the stolen vehicle was a 2010 Kia that was traveling on the Florida Turnpike heading onto the northbound lanes of Orange Blossom Trial when it suddenly lost control near the area of Landstreet Road. The Kia then veered outside of the road and struck a pole.
The force of impact on the car split the car into two pieces, according to statements made by Troopers.
Two passengers where ejected from the vehicle because they were not wearing seatbelts.
Poiter was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center suffering with serious injuries.
Grant and an identified passenger were both killed in the incident.
Florida Highway Patrols are still investigating the crash.
