St. Petersburg Woman Killed Danielle Harb Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 49th Street North in Pinellas Park
Pinellas Park, Florida (December 28, 2017) – A woman looking at her cell phone was struck and killed Wednesday morning when she stepped into the path of a vehicle on 49th Street in Pinellas Park.
Police said the woman was hit at around 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, December 27 in the 8800 block of 49th Street North.
The victim, Danielle Nicole Harb, 41, of St. Petersburg, was trying to cross the street while on her phone and was knocked down by a 2016 Black Dodge Challenger driven by 29-year-old Christine Crawford of Pinellas Park.
Harb was rushed to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Crawford was at the scene when police arrived.
No charges are expected to be filed, police said.
