Interstate 95 Multiple Vehicle Wreck Kills Damon McDine
St. Johns County, FL (October 2, 2017) – A man was killed in a multiple vehicle collision that took place Sunday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a wreck on Interstate 95, near County Road 210, at around 9:36 p.m. on October 1.
The report showed that 42-year-old Damon McDine, of Jacksonville, hit a couple of vehicles with his 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. He then hit the guardrail and crossed to the northbound side of the highway, where he hit a third vehicle.
McDine was killed at the scene. Three other people were injured and were brought to Baptist South.
The incident left two northbound lanes of I-95 closed during the investigation.
Charges are pending.
