Two-Vehicle Collision on State Road 70 Kills Christine Mccue and Skylar Mccue
DeSoto County, FL (October 13, 2017) – A two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon has killed two people and sent a child to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported the crash to have occurred around 4:40 p.m. October 12 on State Road 70, near NW Florida Avenue.
The report showed that a 2008 Chevrolet Impala traveled west on SR 70 when it veered into oncoming traffic. It struck a 2015 Nissan Versa being driven by 42-year-old Christine Mccue, of Myakka City.
The impact killed Christine and her 12-year-old passenger, Skylar Mccue. It also sent her other passenger, a 9-year-old to the All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg with serious injuries.
The 35-year-old driver of the Impala was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries too.
