Douglas Boulevard Two-Vehicle Collision Critically Injures Christian Andres Guerrero
Pembroke Pines, FL (October 19, 2017) – A man has been sent to the hospital with critical injuries after he was involved in a car collision Thursday afternoon.
The Pembroke Pines Police Department reported the incident around 4:54 p.m. October 19 at the intersection of Douglas Boulevard and Pines Boulevard.
The report showed that 19-year-old Christian Andres Guerrero, of Pembroke Pines, drove his 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Douglas Boulevard. Guerrero then attempted to make a left turn on the 200 block of South Douglas Road, where he was struck by a southbound 2017 Dodge Charger.
Guerrero sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
The driver of the Dodge Nigel Morrison, of Miami, sustained minor injuries and was brought to Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines.
