Man Injured in Hialeah Dump Truck Crash With Car on Interstate 75
Hialeah, Florida (February 8, 2018) – A car driver was injured when his car collided with a dump truck and ended up being pinned inside the wreckage on Wednesday afternoon in Hialeah, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The two-vehicle crash took place along northbound Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 39 on Wednesday, February 7.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were not clear.
Officials said the driver of the car got trapped after the accident and was ejected by the rescue crews.
The man was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center. Details on his identity and extent of his injuries were not released.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
