Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Injured in Rear-End Crash on N. Pine Island Road
Broward County, Florida (December 27, 2017) – A Broward County Sheriff’s deputy was hospitalized Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection, according to a report.
The crash occurred at about 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of North Pine Island Road and West McNab Road.
The deputy was riding his motorcycle and was stopped at a red light when he was rear-ended by a car.
The deputy suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by the emergency crews to a hospital.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the deputy was at the scene when police arrived.
The crash is under investigation.
