15-Year-Old Brandon Slaughter Struck and Killed by Car on US Route 27 in Lafayette County
Lafayette County, Florida (November 29, 2017) – A 15-year-old boy was hit and killed on Tuesday evening by a car in a bridge in Lafayette County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Brandon Lee slaughter, 15, was struck at about 6:04 p.m. U.S. Route 27, just east of State Route 349 on Tuesday, November 28.
Troopers said Slaughter was walking on the roadway in the narrow bridge when he was struck by a 2010 Chevy Malibu.
Slaughter died at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
