Thonotosassa Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on SR 60 in Hillsborough County
Hillsborough County, Florida (January 22, 2018) – A 35-year-old woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sunday night in Hillsborough County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 8:09 p.m. Sunday, January 21, on State Road 60 at Mt. Carmel Avenue.
Troopers said Brandi Eckelstafer, 35, of Thonotosassa was crossing the road when she was struck by a 2013 Dodge Dirt that was being driven by April Reyes, 33, of Tampa.
Eckelstafer succumbed to injuries she sustained in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
