Wimauma Motorcyclist Bradley Broughton Killed in Riverview
Riverview, Florida (January 5, 2018) – One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Riverview Thursday Morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 8:50 a.m. Thursday, January 4, on U.S. 301 and Ambleside Drive.
According to FHP, Bradley Broughton, 18, was riding at a high rate of speed and weaving through the traffic north on U.S. 301 when he was hit by a 1999 Ford F-150 driven southbound by Antonio Martinez-Ramirez, of Tampa.
The Ford pulled left in front of Broughton who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Broughton was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not suspected to be a factor in the wreck, FHP said.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
