Man Hospitalized after Flagler County Motorcycle Crash on Seminole Woods Blvd
Flagler County, Florida (December 16, 2017) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a van on Seminole Woods Boulevard on Friday night, FHP said.
The accident occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Friday, December 15, at the intersection of Pinnacles Drive, near RaceTrac gas station.
Troopers said Barney Davis, 56, of Schererville, Indiana, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Seminole Woods Boulevard and was making a left turn onto Pinnacle Drive when he was struck by a 2014 Nissan van, driven northbound on Seminole Woods Boulevard by Pavel Voloshin, 29, of Palm Coast.
Davis was critically injured and was transported to the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach by the Flagler County Fire Rescue ambulance.
No other injuries were reported from the crash.
A section of Seminole Woods Boulevard was closed as officials conducted an investigation.
We wish a quick recovery to Barney Davis. It is disheartening when a reckless party subjects an innocent person to suffering.
