Miami Gardens Woman Ana Gordon Killed in Fiery Pembroke Pines Crash on Sheridan Street
Pembroke Pines, Florida (December 29, 2017) – Officials with the Pembroke Pines Police Department reported a two-vehicle crash that killed an 87-year-old woman occurred Monday afternoon at an intersection on Sheridan Street.
The incident took place shortly after 2:50 p.m. Monday, December 25 at the intersection of Sheridan Street and Dykes Road.
Police said a woman was driving a 2010 Nissan, heading west on Sheridan Street and was turning left onto southbound Dykes Road when a woman, driving a 2007 Toyota eastbound on Sheridan Street, collided with her vehicle.
A passenger in the Nissan, Ana Gordon, 87, of Miami Gardens, was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital along with two other occupants of the car.
Gordon was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old Pembroke Pines woman, and her three passengers including two children, were all unhurt.
The crash is under investigation, police said.
