A 26-year-old woman from St. Petersburg, FL was killed in a head-on crash when she was driving in the opposite director, injuring four other people.
According to State Troopers, the driver identified as Ambreuna Brown was traveling in the wrong direction on 66th Street North when she collided into another car involving four other teens in the process.
Brown was killed in the incident and brought four teens to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital after the crash.
The 17-year-old, Shelly Melendez and her friends were rushed to the hospital all in serious injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol states that Melendez was the passenger in the front seat when both cars hit each other head-on.
Troopers believe that Brown was driving drunk and died in the crash. All four teens were wearing seatbelts which saved their lives.
