Two Drivers Critically Injured in Jackson County Crash on U.S. 231 in Jackson
Jackson County, Florida (November 7, 2017) – Two drivers were seriously injured on Monday evening following a two-car crash in Jackson County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on U.S. 231 at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6
A car driven by Alvah Lawrence Williams tried to cross the northbound lane of U.S. 231 and struck a 2004 Chevy SUV on its right side. The impact caused both vehicles to rotate and threw both drivers from the cars.
Troopers said Williams and the Chevy driver were rushed to Southwest Alabama Medical. Williams was in critical condition while the Chevy driver was in serious condition.
