Allisa Padgett and Dapo Clark Hospitalized in Washington County Car Crash on State Road 77
Washington County, Florida (February 16, 2018) – A woman and a man were hospitalized in serious condition after a multi-vehicle accident happened Thursday morning in Washington County, a local news source reported.
The victims were identified as Allisa Padgett, 21, of Cottondale, and Dapo Clark, 43, of Lynn Haven.
The crash took place at an unspecified time, Thursday, February 15 on State Road 77.
According to the article, the Florida Highway Patrol reported that Alan Sjoken, 44, of Southport, was driving a 2006 Ford F250 southbound on State Road 77 when he failed to stop for halted traffic ahead. In so doing, he rear-ended a 2013 Kia Forte driven by Padgett.
The impact sent the Forte into the northbound lanes and the path of a 1998 Ford Expedition driven by Clark. The front of the Forte collided with the Expedition.
Padgett and Clark sustained serious injuries in the crash and were both transported to Bay Medical Sacred Heart for treatment. Sjoken was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
