Crash on I-75 Kills Allan Romesser and Injures Toddler
Broward County, FL (October 14, 2017) – A man was killed in a collision Friday, October 13 afternoon that also sent a toddler to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that 37-year-old Allan Romesser, of Fort Myers, drove his 2014 Volkswagen Jetta eastbound on I-75, near County Road 833.
Romesser allowed his vehicle to veer off the road and hit a parked vehicle on the paved shoulder. This sent the Jetta to hit a second parked vehicle.
As a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash, Romesser died at the scene. His passenger, a 6-year-old, has been transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The occupants in the other vehicles were uninjured.
We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the victim killed in the collision.
