A motorcyclist dies in a traffic crash on March 4 at around 9:08 in the morning.
80-year-old Alfred Boutin was killed in Hernando County after he was thrown from his motorcycle. According to Florida Highway Patrol, Boutin was at the intersection of Monteverde Drive and County Line Road when the incident happened.
Boutin was riding his 2002 Honda motorcycle heading west on County Line Road when 28-year-old Michael King was driving his 2017 Ford F150 that turned right in front of him when they were in the driveway of 10455 County Line Road in front of Dunkin Donuts. The Honda motorcycle crashed into the pickup truck and the impact of the crash caused Boutin to eject from his motorcycle.
Officials said that Boutin was wearing a helmet but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
