Tallahassee, FL – A woman remains in intensive care following an accident that occurred on Saturday while she was riding her bicycle.
The crash took place at around 11:30 a.m. on Oak Ridge Road. The driver of an SUV, a 16-year old, was traveling past the bike path that intersects with Oak Ridge Road, while the bicyclist, 63-year old Marlene Larmore was coming up to the intersection, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.
Larmore hit the front passenger side of the SUV, failing to stop at the stop sign. Larmore landed on the road after she was thrown off of her bicycle.
Troopers mentioned how the teenager got out of the SUV and tried to help Larmore. Larmore was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and remains in critical condition.
