A motorcyclist is dead after an intersection crash involving another vehicle collided with one another between County Road 33 and 48.
Florida Highway Patrol stated in a press release that, Donald and his passenger Judith Troxel were riding on their Honda motorcycle heading south on County Road 33, when a vehicle attempted to make a left turn from County Road 48 to County Road 33.
While the vehicle made the left turn, it came onto the path of Donald and Judith Troxel motorcycle causing both to eject from the bike.
60-year-old Donald Troxel was rushed to Leesburg Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
57-year-old Judith Troxel was also taken to the hospital and are currently unaware of the extent of her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, who was identified as 58-year-old Torri Saldivar was rushed to Leesburg Regional Medical Center as well with serious injuries.
Florida State Troopers are still investigating the crash and charges are pending.
