A 56-year-old woman has died after a crash on Friday night on US-41.
Gerhea Tabares was driving her Chevy Colorado traveling south on US-41 when she lost control of her vehicle.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Tabares crossed the median and hit the front of an approaching car.
She was then ejected from her car and authorities have reported that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The driver in the other car was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Florida Highway Patrols are still investigating on whether or not alcohol was a factor in the incident.
