Truck Pulling Construction Equipment Kills Driver in County Road 209 Crash
Clay County, FL (September 7, 2017) – A collision between a car and a truck pulling construction equipment on County Road 209 Wednesday morning has killed one of the drivers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on September 6 in Clay County.
The report showed that a 47-year-old woman drove a Toyota Camry eastbound on CR 209 when it lost control of her vehicle on the grass shoulder. When she drove her car back onto the road, it struck a westbound white Chevrolet 3500 pulling construction equipment.
The woman was killed at the scene. Her name was not released, pending notification of her family.
The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.
