Three Sustain Injuries in Port St. Lucie Crash on U.S. 1

Port St. Lucie, Florida (November 30, 2017) – Three people were hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon after vehicles collided on U.S. 1 in Port St. Lucie.
According to a Port St. Lucie Police report, two vehicles were involved in the crash that happened at about 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, on U.S. 1 between Lyngate Drive and Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Police said a vehicle turned south on U.S. 1 from an apartment complex and entered into the path of a vehicle traveling southbound.
The collision caused the southbound vehicle to roll over a few times.
A woman traveling in the southbound vehicle was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries, police said.
Two people who were traveling in the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital. Details on their condition were unavailable.
