Three Injured in Jacksonville Multi-Vehicle Crash on Normandy Boulevard
Jacksonville, Florida (January 10, 2018) – Three people sustained injuries, one of them critical, in a multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon in Jacksonville, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, on Normandy Boulevard at the I-295 entry ramp.
Troopers said a white Ford pickup traveling eastbound on Normandy Boulevard lost control and traveled across the median, where it collided with a white Honda that was attempting to turn left onto the entry ramp at I-295.
The impact caused both vehicles to travel across a second median, and the Honda crashed into another Ford pickup, triggering a chain-reaction crash.
A woman driving the Honda was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the first Ford and a passenger in the vehicle were both treated for minor injuries.
Troopers are looking into the cause of the crash and said charges are pending.
We wish a quick recovery to the victims of this accident.
