Two Men Killed in St. Johns River Airboat Crash in Cocoa
Cocoa, Florida (November 13, 2017) – Two men drowned on Sunday evening after their airboat rolled over in St. Johns River in Cocoa, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The tragic accident was reported at about 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 12 near Lone Cabbage Fish Camp in Cocoa.
Two people aboard the boat made it to shore.
Two bodies of men between the ages of 50 and 70 were recovered from the river at around 8:30 p.m., according to the officials.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
