Congress Avenue and Forum Place Head-on Crash Kills 2 and Injures 1
West Palm Beach, FL (September 4, 2017) – A couple of people have been confirmed dead after a two-car crash near the Palm Beach Outlets mall Monday afternoon. Another individual has been hospitalized for injuries sustained in the crash.
According to West Palm Beach Police, the collision occurred around 12:31 p.m. September 4 near the intersection of Forum Place and Congress Avenue.
The collision involved a northbound black Toyota RAV4 on Congress Avenue, which collided head-on with a southbound silver Honda. The police statement reported that one of the drivers lost control of his vehicle, causing it to crash into the other.
As of this writing, details about the crash are scarce. However, police have confirmed that one person has died at the scene. Another individual from the same vehicle was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the second vehicle was also transported to a local hospital. Police said that his injuries were non-life threatening.
An investigation into the collision has been launched by the police.
