Okeechobee Road Two-Vehicle Collision Critically Injures At Least 2
Fort Pierce, FL (September 22, 2017) – A two-vehicle collision on Okeechobee Rd. early Friday morning has critically injured at least two people.
The St. Lucie Fire District reported that the incident took place around 6:51 a.m. on September 22, near the Shinn intersection.
The crash involved two vehicles with a total of seven occupants. Five of the people were sent to the hospital; two of which were critically injured.
A woman and a man were transported to local trauma hospitals with critical injuries. The woman was transported by air and the man was taken by ground transportation.
Another man was transported to a local trauma hospital with serious injuries. The two other men sustained less serious injuries.
Both the Florida Highway Patrol and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene.
