Multi-Vehicle Accident Kills Five Individuals in St. Lucie County
White City, FL – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision leads to the death of five people and the injury of two others in St. Lucie County.
The accident took place on South 25th Street and West Midway Road at Saturday night at around 10:30 p.m.
Reports mentioned that the accident involved three vehicles.
A GMC Yukon was traveling south on 25th Street nearing Midway Road.
A BMW 325i and Dodge Dakota were also heading south on that same road when the GMC approached the other two vehicles at a higher rate of speed.
The GMC hit the rear-end of the Dodge, which then struck the rear of the BMW.
According to FHP, the Dodge was fully engulfed in flames as a result of the impact.
All the occupants in the Dodge were killed, including a 16-year old.
The driver of the GMC suffered severe injuries.
According to the FHP, the collision remains under investigation.
