Young Bicyclist Killed in International Drive Crash with Vehicle in Orlando
Orlando, Florida (December 27, 2017) – A 12-year-old boy was fatally struck while riding on a bicycle in Orlando Tuesday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on International Drive near Westwood Boulevard on Tuesday, December 26, according to a police report.
FHP said the boy was crossing I-Drive with a group of other children when he was clipped by a Ford Focus and pushed underneath the car.
The driver of the Ford left the vehicle in the median and fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to Arnold Palmer where he was pronounced deceased.
Police are looking for the driver of the Ford who, they said, is a white man.
