Tampa, FL – The identity of the driver who was Killed Wednesday night on the Howard Frankland Bridge in a fiery crash has been released by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The victim, Barry Edward Anderson, 69, was killed at around 4 p.m. April 5th. He was driving on southbound lanes near the Kennedy Boulevard exit.
For unknown reasons, Anderson lost control of a 2008 Kia Spectra and drove into the shoulder, hitting the center concrete barrier.
The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to overturn several times then catching fire.
Anderson died in the crash and was reported to be wearing a seatbelt.
